The couple, who share three children and a decade-long love story, finally wed in an intimate beachside celebration following a surprise re-proposal in Cannes.
After years of love, laughter, and building a family together, Robin Thicke and April Love Geary have officially tied the knot. The 48-year-old “Blurred Lines” singer and the 30-year-old model exchanged vows in a picturesque beachside ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Friday night — marking the culmination of a six-year engagement and over a decade of partnership.
The wedding comes just one week after Thicke surprised Geary with a second proposal during a romantic getaway to the Cannes Film Festival. “Robin surprised me during our trip to Cannes by proposing to me again with a new ring,” Geary shared on Instagram. “This trip was such a dream. 🤍 I love you so much.” The model had also hinted at the approaching nuptials with a playful post captioned, “It’s wedding week.”

The celebration was nothing short of magical. In a series of photos and videos shared to their Instagram Stories, the couple gave fans a glimpse into their joy-filled day. From a passionate kiss beneath a sky lit with fireworks to a touching black-and-white family portrait with their children, the intimate ceremony was filled with warmth, elegance, and love. Other clips showcased their lively beach reception, a champagne tower, and a glowing neon sign that proudly read: “The Thickes.”
The newlyweds danced the night away, even grooving to Thicke’s own 2006 hit, “Wanna Love You Girl,” whose lyrics — “She’s the kind of girl you wanna marry” — rang especially true on their big day.

Thicke and Geary’s journey began in 2014, shortly after the singer’s high-profile separation from actress Paula Patton, to whom he was married for a decade. The couple first went public with their relationship at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival — when Thicke was 38 and Geary just 20. Their romance sparked both admiration and public scrutiny due to their 18-year age gap, which Geary addressed candidly in 2017, writing, “We’re out here LIVING while most of y’all are still bothered by an age gap.”
The couple’s love has only grown stronger over time. In addition to co-parenting Thicke’s son Julian from his previous marriage, they’ve welcomed three children together — daughters Mia Love and Lola Alain, and son Luca Patrick.
Their union is not only a celebration of romance but also a symbol of family resilience and renewal. In recent years, Thicke has opened up about the impact of losing his father, beloved Growing Pains actor Alan Thicke. His 2021 album, On Earth, and in Heaven, marked a heartfelt return to music and reunited him with longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams. The album was filled with reflections on grief, growth, and gratitude — themes that seem to echo in his evolving life journey.

In a 2022 episode of The Masked Singer, Thicke paid emotional tribute to his late father by performing the Growing Pains theme song, “As Long as We Got Each Other,” which Alan co-wrote and performed during his time on the sitcom.
Speaking to PEOPLE last year, Thicke reflected on his personal growth and commitment to his family. “My relationship with April continues to grow beautifully as we’ve matured into three-time parents together and co-parenting with Julian,” he said. “She’s really the most amazing woman a man can ask for.” He added, “Ever since my father passed away, I’ve been filling that void of missing him so much with as much love as I can in my life, and I’m very happy to have four amazing children.”
As the sun set over the Cabo shoreline and Robin and April sealed their vows beneath the stars, it marked not just a long-awaited union, but a radiant new chapter for a family that’s weathered change with unwavering love.
